yesterday was saturday, and instead of enjoying the beautiful michigan summer weather, i chose to make a show poster. Why did i do this? Simple. The poster wasn’t gonna make itself. So, I had to decide what i wanted to make a poster about… which may seem like another simple answer: make it about the show. But not so fast Slick. It’s not that simple. This show happens to be about more than one thing there Slick. So, just keep your quick slick answers to yourself, and let me continue. IT happens to be both an EP Release Show AND a Space Night AND there will be limited edition vinyl records. It happens to need to include all of the bands, and the venue, and also maintain your attention long enough that you ask questions… such as “why am i looking at this right now, instead of that hot chickadee over yonder”, well let me tell you why… because she/he is not the one for you. Everything you need will be at the Phase 3 EP release show/Space Night.

On October 10th, in Detroit Michigan, at the Magic Stick… which also happens to be halloween in space somewhere, just show up dressed as an alien, a space man/woman, an astronaut, a creature, a nasa scientist, a monkey, HAL 9000, Billy D Williams, Tim Allen, The Guy from Reading Rainbow, a Muppet, or really anything… and participate in the night. Don’t just show up with a shitty attitude and chunky advertising-guy glasses… show up in a much more daring outfit. Believe me. Believe in the night. Believe in the power of a group of people dressed in space suits.
